Bring a Strawberry Dream to the energy sector
MONSTER Energy drinks has a dreamy new offer for the sector with the launch of its new Monster Energy Ultra Strawberry Dreams variant.
Aiming to build further on the zero sugar Ultra range, the new Strawberry Dreams flavour delivers a balance of sweetness and tartness that gives consumers an extra boost for their day with no calories and no sugar.
The new launch is available in both 500ml plain and price-marked single cans as well as four can multipacks, which are non-priced marked.
Further to this, the drinks come in an eye-catching light pink colour which Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) says will help to deliver maximum impact on shelf to drive sales through the strawberry-inspired creamy pink design.
Not only this, but a Monster consumer survey found that Strawberry was the number one flavour innovation they would most like to see with 55% of respondents voting for the fruity variant.
CCEP reckons the new flavour will be perfectly placed to match this demand after seeing a great degree of success in America, where it rose to be the number one selling Ultra variant at the tail end of 2023.
To help drive up the new launch, retailers can request Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams POS materials and download digital assets via My.CCEP.com.
The new variant follows on from a slate of new launches for the Monster brand which this year has seen the launch of its new Monster Energy Nitro Cosmic Peach as well as the roll out of the popular Monster Energy Juiced Bad Apple flavour.
Helen Kerr, associate director of portfolio development at CCEP GB, said: “Energy drinks are adding more value to the soft drinks category than any other segment.
“And much of this is down to diversification and innovation, led by Monster, which contributed more than half of NPD value sales over the last year.
“It’s a massive opportunity for retailers and there’s still room for significant growth.
“We’re confident that Monster Ultra Strawberry Dreams will build on this success. This new launch will tap into demand for the strawberry flavour and zero sugar energy drinks with the renowned Monster energy kick, so we’d recommend that retailers get stocked up.”
