Two new variants join hanging bag range
CONFECTIONERY brand Fruit-tella has expanded on its range of Curiosities jellies sweets with two new launches.
Aiming to to build on the success of the range – which saw it pick up a Product of the Year 2024 award – the new variants are In the Garden and Out at Night and look to transport consumers to these respective worlds on their doorsteps.
Each pack features fruit flavoured jellies with different designs to reflect the creatures often found in both scenarios, with In the Garden featuring caterpillars, butterflies and bees and Out at Night featuring spiders, owls and bats.
In the Garden features fruit flavours of lemon, strawberry and apple, with Out at Night consisting of orange, blackberry and apple.
Further to this, each pack contains facts and information about the jelly creatures inside, helping to add an extra level of education with the confectionery.
Package this with the HFSS-compliant nature of the range and Perfetti Van Melle – parent firm of Fruit-tella – reckons the new launches will be ideal for families and children.
Each Fruit-tella Jellies world also includes digital aspects via an on-pack QR code that will take consumers to a gamified microsite once scanned where they can create their own AR creatures to interact with.
Both packs are available across the grocery channels from August, coming in 110g hanging bags with an RRP of £1.50. Further to this, Out at Night will feature a Mini Bag Multipack format, which could appeal for those consumers seeking out the ideal themed treat for Halloween this year.
