READY-TO-DRINK (RTD) cocktail brand Mirror Margarita has made its debut in the UK supermarket channel as it launches into Sainsbury’s stores.

Rolling out this September, the new Mirror Margarita blends together 100% Premium Agave Blanco Cazcabel Tequila with citrus oils and malic acid to produce the classic margarita cocktail but in a clear, see-through colour.

The new launch comes in a 500ml bottle format – containing five serves per bottle – with an ABV of 15% and an RRP of £25 per bottle.

Mirror Margarita aims to appeal to the younger drinker demographic with its unique selling point as a clear coloured margarita cocktail – which traditionally would look more of a cloudy lemon colour – as well as by shouting out about its sustainable practices.

The brand strives to remain sustainable across its production process all the way to delivery, with its packaging also coming in an eco-friendly manner.

And the RTD cocktail has already seen some acclaim on the international stage as it was named the Cocktail of the Year by CLASS Bar Awards in 2020 and secured double Gold medals in the Spirits Business Pre-Mixed & RTD Masters in 2022.

Deano Moncrieffe, co-founder of Mirror Margarita, said: “We are so excited to have our bar quality signature serve made available to audiences nationwide through retailer Sainsbury’s.

“We have always believed there is a gap in the market for a premium RTD cocktail which is expert led, so people who are time poor but love good quality drinks can enjoy them without any fuss at home.

“What’s more we believe the new product will resonate with people who are already fans of Mexican spirits, but also the innovation behind the recipe with its crystal-clear appearance will intrigue new audiences.”
