Bringing in a full-bodied taste to meal times
STOCK pot brand Knorr is set to bottle in some extra flavour with the launch of the brand’s first ever Red and White Wine Stock Pots.
Aiming to bring further depth and flavour to dishes for consumers without having to buy or open a full bottle of wine to do so, the Unilever-owned brand reckons it can help to change the game when it comes to key meal times.
The Knorr Red Wine Stock Pots are available in Asda stores this month with plans to roll out to other grocery and convenience retail outlets in August. The White Wine variant will also launch later this July.
Each pack comes with four stock pots and has an RRP of £1.90 each.
Georgina Bradford, marketing director nutrition at Unilever UK&I, said: “Knorr’s new Red and White Wine Stock Pots are a game-changer for home cooks who want to add rich wine flavours to their dishes without having to buy or open a bottle.
“As the UK’s number one stock brand in the market, Knorr is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation, and this launch is no exception.
“Whether you are making spaghetti bolognese or a chicken risotto, a half glass of red or white wine can make all the difference to enhance the flavour of a dish.
“Our new product range sets itself apart from the competition by its superior flavour.
“We believe that shoppers will continue to purchase our existing stock pot range, while also adding our new wine stock pots to their shopping list, resulting in increased basket spend and retailer sales.
“We understand that our consumers value convenience and quality, and our new Red and White Wine Stock Pots deliver on both fronts.”
