Show attendees choose new flavour for Graham’s
GRAHAM’S The Family Dairy has taken consumers to the polls to help decide the new flavour in its Protein 25 range.
The Scottish dairy goods firm called upon attendees of Scotland’s Royal Highland Show to vote on the next flavour for the nation and make their voices heard.
After more than 1000 votes were cast at the show over the course of four days, between three potential candidates set to take the stage as the latest addition to the brand’s protein line-up.
These included Cinnamon Bun, Rhubarb and Tiramisu, which initially made it through the finalist stages following on from social media suggestions to Graham’s in the run up to the show.
But only one could come out on top and Rhubarb was the order of the event as the fruity taste took the top spot as the next addition to Graham’s Protein 25 range.
The firm is now set to work on the development of the new flavour to help introduce the new variant in time to come.
This follows on from the brand’s latest launch of new Greek Yoghurt pouches, which recently rolled out to the market in three flavours.
Suggestions came flooding in to Graham’s social media sites with flavours including some wild card options such as haggis, tablet and even a curry sauce flavour.
Robert Graham, managing director at Graham’s Family Dairy, said: “Although I’m slightly disappointed that haggis flavour didn’t quite make the cut, it’s brilliant to see our customers join in to decide the next yogurt flavour for our most popular protein product.
“For decades our family has been involved in the Royal Highland Show and it means a lot to us, so we wanted to have some fun and let show-goers vote on something more appetising and decide what the next flavour of our extremely popular protein yogurt would be.
“Protein 25 pots and pouches are our best selling products and the healthiest on the market with demand still going through the roof.
“We hope you get a chance to enjoy our latest tasty creation which packs a punch with 25g of protein per serving.”
