St. Andrews-based distiller Eden Mill has been named as the ‘Official Gin’ of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, seeing the brand on a global stage.

INDEPENDENT Scottish distiller Eden Mill has been named as the Official Gin of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open.

As a brand that originates in ‘the home of golf’ – St. Andrews – Eden Mill will be seen across the fairways of East Lothian, building up the brand’s presence with a key group of consumers in golfing fans.

Held at the exclusive Renaissance Club, found just outside of North Berwick, the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open offers the chance for spectators across the globe to descend on the ‘Golf Cost’ along the Firth of Forth in Scotland, bringing the Eden Mill brand further into the limelight on a grand scale.

Eden Mill will be providing serves and cocktails from its portfolio throughout the tournament for guests to enjoy. Attendees can expect Eden Mill G&Tee stirred with Mediterranean Tonic with mint and blackberry, as well as the Eden Mull Love Gin Spritz.

This also comes as Eden Mill prepares to unveil its soon-to-be-completed new distillery, just seven minutes from St Andrews, and is due to commence production later this year. The current plan will see the door officially open from spring 2025.

Commenting on the new partnership, Rennie Donaldson, chief executive officer, at Eden Mill, said: “Our gin was born in St. Andrews, the home of golf.

“So to be able to make it available to fans travelling to Scotland from all over the world is a huge moment for the brand.

“After a successful activation at the Genesis Invitational in LA earlier this year, it was a natural step to continue this relationship and become the ‘Official Gin’ of such a prestigious golf competition.”
