Sunny new look for Thatchers Cloudy Lemon

New look, same taste for Cloudy Lemon cider

Somerset-based cider-makers Thatchers Cider has unveiled the new look for its Cloudy Lemon cider variant, displaying a more consistent look with the range.

SOMERSET cider brand Thatchers Cider has unveiled a vibrant new look for its Cloudy Lemon variant, bringing the flavour in line with the rest of the brand’s appearance.

Coming in an eye-catching updated four pack of cans, Thatchers said the new look will help to give the brand a “family range feel,” due to its consistent look with Thatchers’ latest fruit cider branding including Apple & Blackcurrant and Blood Orange flavours.

The new refresh comes as the summer gets underway in Scotland as the Somerset-based cider-makers aim to take advantage of the popular variant for the warmer weather.

Circana data has found that more consumers have been choosing the Cloudy Lemon four-pack in their shop, with volume sales of the product growing by 9.2% in supermarkets in the 52 weeks to 20 April.

Yvonne Flannery, head of brands at Thatchers Cider, said: “Lemons and blue skies go hand-in-hand! This new design adds a sense of depth and location to the branding, transporting you to the lemon grove with zesty colours and a warm Mediterranean vibe.

“It now sits clearly in our family of fruit ciders, claiming its place alongside our bold and exciting Blood Orange and Apple & Blackcurrant innovations.

“With a fresh new look, but same great taste, this branding will help existing customers find their preferred brand, while encouraging others to try this exciting flavour for the first time.”
