Mondelēz International has unveiled its latest HFSS regulations compliant snack with the launch of Cadbury Brunch Light in a bid to cater to rising demand from consumers.

GLOBAL snacks giant Mondelēz International has unveiled its latest HFSS regulations compliant snack with the launch of Cadbury Brunch Light.

Available in two variants with Cadbury Brunch Light Honey & Oat as well as Cadbury Brunch Light Orange, the new bars come in packs of five and contain fewer than 100 calories per bar. Each pack comes with an RRP of £1.25.

The new range is set to help drive penetration by attracting more shoppers to the category, according to Mondelēz, and as Scotland gears up to deliver on its own HFSS restrictions, the introduction of these products to stores could prepare more consumers going forward.

The new bars aim to cater for those consumers looking for a good tasting, healthier snack to help fuel their day from a brand they know and trust.

Bethany Wenn, brand manager for Cadbury at Mondelēz International, said: “This innovation comes to market backed by shopper insight to help it cater to a real category demand from consumers.

“Packed full of wholegrain oats and containing 12% Cadbury milk chocolate in each bar, the Cadbury Brunch Light range is irresistibly delicious – while also being below 100 calories a portion!

“We know that shoppers are on the hunt for lower calorie cereal bars that still taste great, so the delicious new Cadbury Brunch Light bars are certainly set to be a hit in-store.

“Cadbury Brunch has always carried healthier snacking cues so this latest launch will help retailers unlock more of these health-conscious sales.”
