Popular food-to-go brand expands its offering
MAJOR food-to-go brand Rollover has introduced its first chicken burger to the range in a bid to expand its offering with an innovative addition to its portfolio.
Rollover’s new Southern Fried Chicken Burger aims to deliver some new variants for consumers to pick up from in the range.
Made using 100% chicken breast and served in the brand’s hand-finished bun, the new launch will help to capitalise on the growing trend for chicken options with consumers but also responds to the retailer demand for varied and delicious hot food offerings, says Rollover.
And the Pilgrim’s Food Masters-owned brand reckons the timing on this launch could not be better, as Rollover noted that four out of the 10 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the UK specialise in chicken, showcasing the clear demand for products from consumers and tapping into this for the convenience retail sector.
Along with this, the new launch allows shopkeepers to drive sales across a range of age groups and demographics, including university and college students, as well as across the wider convenience and forecourt channels.
As a result, Rollover reckons this new addition to its line-up will encourage retailers to grow their customer base by encouraging trial.
The burger requires an oven for cooking and can be ready in just 18 minutes, says Rollover. It is also halal-certified to help meet further dietary requirements across the breadth of the industry.
Along with the rest of the brand’s burger range, the new Southern Fried Chicken Burger comes with fully recyclable packaging and POS materials to help retailers maximise the sales potential from the new product as well as increase the visibility of the launch in store.
The new Southern Fried Chicken Burger is available to purchase on Rollover’s website in cases of 30 with individual burgers priced between £3.29 and £3.50.
