PORK pie brand Pork Farms has entered into the meat snacking category for the first time with the launch of four new products.

Pork Farms’ new Pork Meatballs, Maple Cured Bacon Strips, Frankfurters and Bratwurst Sausages are all available to the market now, offering consumers a wide range of meat snacking options that can be eaten hot or cold.

Nick Partridge, marketing manager at Pork Farms – part of The Compleat Food Group, said: “At Pork Farms, we have a long history in creating the highest quality pork pies, which has helped the brand grow by 45% in the past year alone and cemented our position as the UK’s number one brand in pork pies.

“We are now using our significant expertise to move beyond creating the tastiest pork pies to deliver the best in pork meat snacking, to attract a new, younger audience and draw more shoppers to the fixture.”

Both the Pork Farms Frankfurters and Cured Maple Bacons Strips are available across the convenience and independent retail sectors now with RRPs of £2.50 each.

Pork Farms’ Meatballs will see an exclusive stint across Co-op stores nationwide for £2.50 RRP and the Bratwurst Sausages have launched into Tesco for £3.50 RRP.

The new launches comes as the Pork Farms brand works on its ambition to become the market leaders in pork protein with even more NPD set to come from the brand as Compleat said it looks to add more excitement and diversity to the category.

Partridge said: “Meat snacking offers significant opportunities for innovation, and our four new products are bringing exciting new flavours and formats to the category.

“It is just the start of an exciting pipeline of NPD for Pork Farms in 2024 as we seek to shake up and drive growth in the category.”
