Dunfermline store brings the Barista experience
SPAR Scotland has rolled out another of its Barista Bar services to the Spar Halbeath store in Dunfermline.
Launched at Spar Scotland’s tradeshow last September, the Barista Bar is a premium coffee-to-go brand that allows consumers to take more control of their coffee experience in stores.
Giving local shoppers a truly personal coffee-making experience that comes from Henderson Foodservice, the Barista Bar is set to replace all of Spar Scotland’s incumbent coffee offering across its stores along with a range of its independent retailers’ stores.
To celebrate the opening of the new Barista Bar in Halbeath, the store offered consumers giveaways and special promotions including a free CJ’s hot morning roll with any Barista Bar hot drink purchase. Additionally, customers and staff were offered free coffee samples from the new service on the day.

The installation at Spar Halbeath adds the first in Spar’s company-owned estate to benefit from the Barista Bar experience with another eight set to come to Spar stores in March. There is also set to be an installation of the service each consecutive month after.
In fact, the symbol group has an ambitious plan to roll out the premium coffee-to-go service across its entire company-owned estate in Scotland by 2025.
