Convenience chain recruits two retail development managers
NISA has enhanced its support for Scottish retailers with two new recruits to its retail development team in Scotland.
Joining from his most recent role as regional controller for Bestway Retail, Phil Knox has also gained 20 years of experience in convenience with former positions at Costcutter Supermarkets Group and Musgrave Retail Partners.
Fiona Shearer joins Nisa from Penny Petroleum, having spent two years as a retail merchandiser. Previously, Fiona spent more than 20 years at CJ Lang, first as a store manager and then moving on to become territory sales executive.
The two new recruits join Nisa as retail development managers and will be providing expert retail advice and support to Nisa customers in Scotland, with Phil responsible for eastern Scotland and Fiona supporting stores in the west. Michael Love will continue to support Nisa key accounts in Scotland.
Victoria Lockie, head of retail at Nisa, said: “I’m delighted to welcome both Phil and Fiona to our team and I’m really excited for the important roles they will both play in delivering on our ambitions in Scotland.
“I recently visited a number of stores in Scotland and saw what fantastic potential there is for Nisa to enhance our operations in Scotland. Phil and Fiona bring with them a wealth of experience in independent retail and I’m delighted they have chosen to be part of the Nisa family.”
Phil Knox said: “I am delighted to join Nisa and be an integral part of the Scottish team that will form the strategic growth plans for Nisa and our retail partners.”
Fiona Shearer added: “I’m delighted to join the Nisa retail team as a retail development manager. I bring with me over 25 years of retail experience and look forward to putting my skills and knowledge to work in providing a consistent business support to our Nisa customers.”
