SCOTTISH bakery brand Fodilicious has revamped its Cookie Buttons snacks range.

Designed to fit the dietary restrictions for people who suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the range has benefited from a new recipe as well as 100% recyclable packaging, which makes its one of the first brands in the Scottish bakery business to do so, according to Fodilicious.

Company founder Lauren Leisk said: “We’ve made some exciting changes that make our Cookie Buttons range even more delicious and satisfying, while being better for the planet.

“As a challenger brand in a fast-growing industry, it’s key to be ahead of the competition and continue to innovate.

“We’re proud to be one of the first Scottish companies to launch our Cookie Buttons in fully recyclable packaging within the bakery industry.

“We’re super excited to launch our new Cookie Buttons range, which are now in better shape (literally) than ever before!

“We use all natural, premium ingredients, including cocoa butter, pure grade A maple syrup and Scottish gluten free oats in our snacks, baked in an allergen-free, BRC accredited site in Scotland.”

Gin Bothy is back in the jam

Gin Bothy boss Kim Cameron has returned to jam making.

GIN Bothy has gone back to the beginning of its brand with the relaunch of The Jam Bothy.

The returning range includes a variety of jams and marmalades, some taking inspiration from the brand’s more recent innovations with alcohol flavours, such as Whisky Marmalade, Raspberry & Gin Jam and Strawberry & Champagne Jam.

Further to this, the range from the Angus-based firm includes Gin Marmalade, Rum Marmalade, Rhubarb & Ginger Jam and Scottish Chilli Jam.

The entire selection is being brought to retail 10 years since founder of the firm, Kim Cameron, first started making the preserves in her kitchen. Cameron then used the leftover fruit juices to make Gin Bothy gin.

Cameron said: “Coming back to the brand’s heritage, working with even more local produce and suppliers feels like a really organic and natural move.

“It has always been a focus to work with local businesses as much as possible and, in Angus, we are surrounded by the cream of the crop when it comes to the finest fresh berries, with farmers delivering to us within hours of picking.”
