Snappy Shopper has continued to help retailers boost profits through home delivery.

SNAPPY Group says it has enjoyed another record-breaking 12 months, with growth of more than 50% year on year.

The operator of c-store home delivery app Snappy Shopper revealed its technology had been used to complete 5.5million orders across its network of 1,800-plus merchants.

And Snappy Shopper’s partnership with Nisa has delivered £12m in sales since 2020. The highest performing of 77 stores is Nisa Nitshill, Glasgow, which has achieved sales worth £2.2m in that time.

Snappy Shopper has also teamed up with ITS, one of the UK’s leading EPOS suppliers, to integrate its technology with the delivery app’s retailers.

The aim is to give shopkeepers the most cutting-edge tools and data to achieve quicker deliveries and control a bigger and more relevant store range to aid improved basket spend and efficiency.

Snappy boss Mike Callachan said: “We are proud of our growth in a difficult climate.”

Scotmid stores now hae meat

SCOTMID will now be selling We hae meat’s chippy-style battered pork sausage and battered black pudding at 125 of its stores.

The listing comes after the family-run Ayrshire business was named a winner in last September’s Scotmid Scottish Favourites competition, when the two products were sold in stores on a three-week promotion.

Jessica van Tromp, local sourcing manager at Scotmid, said: “We hae meat’s commitment to excellence has paid off.”

We hae meat boss Carlyn Paton said: “We’re proud that we can provide our tasty products to more customers than ever before.”
