Vivo Tea Company, Vault City and Rose Marketing unveil newcomers
New Coconutea is a kingmaker
VIVO Tea Company has launched the Coconutea brand in the UK after identifying a gap in the market for a premium offering.
The newcomer is described as a “superfood in a bottle” that celebrates the king coconut grown in Sri Lanka.
Combining nutrient-packed coconut water with premium green tea and natural fruit flavours, Coconutea is available in six variants – lemon, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, strawberry and American tropical fruit soursop.
With an RRP of £3.49 per 250ml bottle, Vivo reckons the drink is on-trend thanks to its health benefits – it’s rich in magnesium, B-complex vitamins, sodium and potassium – and focus on sustainability.
Moreover, Mintel is predicting a 35% growth in the coconut water sub-category by 2026.
Brand founder and director Sanjiv Rai said: “King coconut – the jewel of Sri Lanka – is the unique ingredient that not only makes Coconutea supremely refreshing, it also contains an unprecedented combination of naturally occurring minerals and vitamins.”
Vault City crafts growth plan
SOUR beer brewer Vault City is all for four as the firm hails the success of its four-day working week alongside the launch of a new four pack.
Four 330ml can packs of the brewer’s Strawberry and Peach sour beer are now available in 650 Tesco stores.
Founder of Vault City Steven Smith-Hay remained bullish about the firm’s growth for the next year, fuelled by the supermarket’s desire to diversify its alcohol range as well as interest from overseas.
He said: “As a small, independent, craft brewer, we’re so proud to see our product stocked on the shelves in so many different Tesco supermarkets up and down the UK.
“We’re still a small team and it gives all of us so much faith in our product and all the hard work we put in to have landed such a significant deal.”
Eezy Freezzy Mocktails pop into shops
SUMMER sun will have plenty of consumers reaching for the freezer to find a treat to help keep them cool.
This makes frozen products important considerations for the big night in as consumers enjoy the sun from their gardens.
As such, Rose Marketing has shouted out its wide range of frozen treats, including Eezy Freezzy Mocktail options and its branded range including sweet labels such as Swizzels, Chupa Chups and Slush Puppie.
Steven Watt, MD at Rose Marketing UK, said: “Come the summer, our Eezy Freezzy Squeezee Ice Pops really come into their own and can be merchandised alongside a confectionery range.
“They are a convenient, ambient alternative to a frozen lolly, so you only have to freeze the amount you need and simply keep the rest in the cupboard for later.”
