FORUM Insurance has appointed channel expert Michael O’Loughlin to the new position of non-executive director of retail.
O’Loughlin has spent 25-plus years in the forecourt and convenience sector, most notably as a board director of the Applegreen Group and later with MFG & Simply Fresh.
The well-respected industry figure regularly chairs events for Retail’s Best and OpenRoom Events, and has served several terms as a director on the Independents Board of the ACS.
He currently holds a similar position with the Eurotank Group and supports Dallas-Holdings in a property capacity.
His role at Forum will see him share his experience of mitigating exposure to unnecessary insurance claims with customers and offer guidance and insight to the board to ensure the firm offers the best service to its rising number of retail clients.
