PINK Lady has reached the landmark donation of a million apples to FareShare – the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste.

Pink Lady and FareShare have been working together since 2020 and the charity’s commercial manager, Emma Brown, said: “Nutritious food – and fresh produce in particular – is so valuable to our network.

“So the donation of a million Pink Lady apples has had a huge impact.”

And Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I has redistributed more than three million 250ml surplus drinks of Lucozade, Ribena and Orangina as part of its partnership with FareShare.

Liz Nieboer, of SBF GB&I, said: “We’re committed to positive change in society and supporting local communities. We hope we will continue to support FareShare on its mission for many years to come.”
