RETAILERS can add to the magic of Christmas by stocking larger gifting and sharing packs, says Susan Nash of Mondelez International.
The confectionery giant’s trade communications manager said a new product from Cadbury will give consumers even more choice.
She explained: “This year, we have rolled out a brand new treat: the Cadbury Chunk Collection.
“The collection includes individually wrapped chunks of various Cadbury chocolate, including Cadbury White, Cadbury Dairy Milk, and Cadbury Dairy Milk Wholenut.”
The Chunk Collection is packaged in a 243g carton format.
The Cadbury Heroes tin is available in a new “Who am I?” game edition this year.
Nash said: “These gifting and sharing formats are a fantastic opportunity to drive maximum sales from shoppers by providing the option to trade up their treats.”
Cadbury has also brought back its Secret Santa Postal Service for Christmas 2023.
Digital and static posters invite consumers to send chocolate secretly to someone by scanning a QR code.
A total of 120,000 chocolate bars will be delivered.
