PREMIER Foods has made it frightfully convenient to enjoy a Halloween staple this autumn.
Mr Kipling Deliciously Good Toffee Apple Pies joins the Premier Foods portfolio of spooky seasonal treats.
According to Premier Foods, the new variant fills a gap by offering shoppers a “healthier cake option”. The pies are made from real fruit and are reported to contain 30% less sugar than standard pies.
Toffee Apple Pies launch this month in a pack size of six priced at £1.75 RRP.
Mathew Bird, brand director for sweet treats at Premier Foods, said: “As consumers look for fun, exciting treats during the spooky season, coupled with a growing demand for healthier cakes, the new SKU serves this consumer need for a more permissible Halloween treat that does not compromise on taste.”
