ALDI has launched a nationwide competition in search of new British suppliers from across all categories in store.
Winners of the Grow With Aldi competition will have their products sold as ‘Specialbuys’ across 950 Aldi stores later this year.
The competition is part of Aldi’s commitment to increase its locally sourced range. The supermarket has invested an extra £1.6 billion with British suppliers since the start of the pandemic, including £125 million spent with meat, poultry and dairy farmers in the UK.
The discounter is committed to spending an additional £3.5 billion per year with British businesses by the end of 2025.
Producers looking to enter the competition can find more details and an entry form via Aldi’s website. Shortlisted suppliers will visit the supermarket’s headquarters to showcase their products to an expert judging panel.
