DAVID Milner has taken on the role of chief executive at St Pierre Groupe, the firm behind bakery brands such as Baker Street and Paul Hollywood.
The new chief exec previously served as a non-executive chairman at St Pierre Groupe.
Milner has ambitious targets for his tenure, aiming to double the value of the business in the next five years. The chief executive helped to deliver growth for brands including Tyrells and Lily’s Kitchen.
Commenting on his appointment, Milner said: St Pierre Groupe is a phenomenal business, doing bakery differently with its three brands. Since joining the business in 2018, I’ve worked with the team to achieve incredible growth. Yet there is still huge potential – it is innovative, superior quality and branded. The workforce has increased threefold in 18 months and I’m excited to guide the team to even greater success.”
St Pierre Groupe’s Paul Baker said Milner has been “instrumental in our remarkable success in the past three years,” adding that appointing him to the top job was a “natural step to prepare us to meet ambitious growth plans.”
