ASDA has donated over half a million meals to people in need through its partnership with charity The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT).
The supermarket giant has provided 534,848 meals through its donations of surplus food to thousands of families.
Karen Todd, zero waste manager at Asda, said:“We are really proud that through our partnership with TBBT we are able to help support so many families who are facing difficult times by providing surplus food, which not only provides much needed meals for those in need, but helps us tackle food waste, something which our customers and colleagues are really passionate about.”
