ALDI has introduced cardboard packaging across its entire steak range in Scotland.

The discounter has replaced plastic packaging across all 12 of its beef steak products, and estimates the change will save approximately 80 tonnes of plastic waste per year in Scotland.

Aldi’s decision to change packs in Scotland follows trials in a selection of English and Welsh stores.
