JW FILSHILL has appointed a new health and safety manager.
Amanda Casey takes up the role as the wholesaler continues to grapple with the health and safety challenges resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Casey, a former customer service manager at Sainsbury’s, joined JW Filshill last summer.
Simon Hannah, chief executive at JW FIlshill, said Casey’s appointment was “absolutely vital” to the business.
“In a busy wholesale operation like ours it is easy to associate health and safety with the safe operation of equipment. However, the health and safety remit goes much further than that.
“As we have demonstrated this year, the safety, health and wellbeing of all our staff and customers is paramount.”
