PERTHSHIRE restaurateur Praveen Kumar has been celebrating a boom in business for his frozen curry brand.
Kumar, who launched his Authentic Indian Cuisine business in April 2019, has seen sales of his frozen curries rocket since the beginning of lockdown, with monthly turnover more than doubling since March.
Authentic Indian Cuisine offers a range of curries taken from Kumar’s award-winning Tabla restaurant in Perth.
Kumar said: “We’re obviously absolutely delighted with the success of the business to date, which really seems to have taken off during the pandemic as consumers look to recreate that authentic Indian dining experience, but in the comfort of their own home.”
