DAIRY-drink producer Friesland Campina has been doing its bit to support frontline workers during the coronavirus crisis.
The firm, whose portfolio includes Yazoo and Barista cold coffee, has delivered thousands of cases of stock to workers across the UK.
More than 5,000 cases of Barista cold coffee have been distributed, as well as 409 cases of Yazoo Kids Chocolate.
Friesland Campina said the deliveries had reached 77,472 workers at 171 sites in the UK.
Yazoo brand manager Gabriella Sudall said: “We have a strong sampling team here at Friesland Campina and we wanted to put our time to good use during the pandemic.
“It is really the least we could do, and we’ve had some briliant messages of thanks from key workers.
“Whilst these really are unprecedented times, the NHS and key workers have certainly gone above and beyond, and we hope this small effort from us has perked up their day.”
