VAPING brand Juul has launched a new menthol flavoured pod.
The brand launched its Menthol Juulpods variant last month. Menthol Juul is available in a four-pack with an RRP of £10.99.
The new flavour roll out has come a matter of weeks before the menthol cigarette ban comes into force on 20 May.
John Patterson, UK sales director for Juul, suggested the Menthol Juulpods could serve as an alternative to cigarettes.
“Juul Labs’ focus is to provide adult smokers with an alternative to combustible cigartettes, and combating underage use of our products.
“Smoking related diseases are responsible for almost 96,000 deaths in the UK annualy.
Smokers should first and foremost try and give up combustible cigarettes – but if they can’t or won’t, it is critically important to provide access to potentially less harmful nicotine products.
“With electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), adult smokers have a choice of flavours and a range of alternative options that may help them transition away from combustible cigarettes,” he said.
