TWO of the trends most frequently talked about in Scottish Grocer are the rise of gin, and an increase in consumer desire for convenience.
Drinks giant Diageo reckons that it has satisfied both trends with the launch of its newest RTD range: ready-to-drink premium gin and tonic.
Tanqueray London Dry Gin and Tonic and Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin and Tonic come in glass bottles that are designed to resemble the original 70cl Tanqueray bottle.
They are available in a single serve or as part of a four pack.
Rich Larkin, head of Diageo Reserve GB, said: “We’re really excited to be launching two premium and quality-led RTD innovations so that customers can enjoy a perfect Tanqueray serve every time.
“As we step into the summer season, we’re confident that the Tanqueray and Tonic premixes will be the perfect addition to shopping baskets for occasions across the off-trade – including at home, picnics, barbecues, garden parties and festivals.”
The 6.5% ABV drinks have an RRP of £3 for single bottles or £10 for the 4 x 275ml pack.
