Coca-Cola European Partners launches a new limited edition flavour in time for Christmas 2018
THERE are few flavours more ‘Christmassy’ than cinnamon, so it should come as no surprise that Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has added the spice to its festive line up.
The zero-sugar Coca-Cola Cinnamon Limited Edition was released at the end of last month, joining Vanilla, Cherry and Peach variants in the brand’s flavoured zero-sugar range.
The limited edition pack has a red and gold design to emphasise its Christmas credentials.
Available in a 1.25l pack format, the new variety will be exempt from the sugar tax.
CCEP has also launched a new competition offering consumers the chance to win tickets to Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball via a five week on-pack promotion.
The promotion, currently running across Coca-Cola original, Diet Coke and Coke Zero, invites consumers to enter a unique code online for the chance to win tickets.
Simon Harrison, customer marketing director GB at CCEP said: “Last Christmas total Colas grew by 5.4% making it a must-stock segment for retailers. We’re confident that with the early arrival of a our great tasting Cinnamon variant and Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball on-pack, the festive season will get off to a flying start for our customers.
“We’ll be back in November with even more activity that will keep Coca-Cola at the centre of Christmas celebrations for both consumers and retailers.”
