THE latest dram from Speyside single malt Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series has been unveiled, with plenty to offer fans of smoke.
Glenfiddich Fire & Cane marries smoky whisky with non-peated malts to create a liquid with oak and peaty flavour notes and a long lasting sweetness.
The new expression is priced at £43 RRP.
Glenfiddich malt master Brian Kinsman commented on the new release: “This new single malt truly encapsulates the spirit of experimentation. We started with a question – what would happen if we did something with peat that we had not done before?
“The answer is an unconventional and unexpected whisky, one that is truly surprising.”
