BATTERY brand Energizer has introduced a new range aimed at that very market, offering coin-sized batteries for devices like smart home sensors and fitness monitors.
Named Ultimate Lithium, the long-lasting batteries come in CR2025, CR2032 and CR2016 sizes (all priced at £6 for a two-pack).
The firm reckons that as consumers increasingly rely on small, high-tech devices, there is a growing market for special batteries to power them.
Amanda Broderick, Energizer marketing director, said: “We are seeing an increasing demand from shoppers for longer lasting batteries for their devices.
“With the type of everyday devices rapidly changing, we are delighted to introduce a product that will power the likes of fitness devices, smart home products and handheld items.”
