THAI energy drink brand Carabao has launched a new multi-million pound integrated marketing campaign.
Entitled ‘The Bonkers Drink for Bonkers Lives’, the new campaign focuses on the brand’s back story, following its journey from Thai best-seller to major football sponsor, drawing parallels between Carabao’s expansion and the busy lives of today’s consumer.
The campaign aims to bring new consumers into the category, from busy mums to football fans.
Carabao’s bonkers campaign is rolling out across print, radio, digital outdoor advertising locations, TV and social media channels.
The brand will also be engaged in experiential and PR activity throughout the UK this summer.
Carabao’s The Bonkers Drink for Bonkers Lives campaign forms part of a £30m above the line marketing campaign across multiple platforms. A brand team will also be travelling the country on a sampling tour throughout 2018, with the goal of distributing over one million cans to consumers.
Carabao continues to be a principle partner with Chelsea Football Club.
