THE number of vaping shops on British high streets could be set to explode according to industry body UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA).
Current estimates from the UKVIA put the number of vaping stores in the UK at 2,000, but the trade group reckons this is likely to grow at a rapid rate over the next two to three years as retail brands embark on store investment programmes. UKVIA board member Doug Mutter said: “Whilst only 10 years old as an industry, vaping is now big business and significant retail brands are beginning to emerge, taking vaping shops from the back street to the high street.”
