LIVINGSTON-based confectionery and snack producer Nisha Enterprises reckons it’s range of sweet and savoury brands have something to offer convenience stores all year round – not just at Christmas.
Nisha has suggested that while many independent retailers boost their range over the festive period by stocking savoury snack brand Golden Cross and confectionery brands Millar and Nishas, taking full advantage of the seasonal uplift in big night in occasions, the firm believes it would be wise to maintain these ranges throughout the year.
A spokeswoman for the firm said: “Most multiple retailers carry the bet-selling lines all year-round. Many independent retailers are following suit, particularly over the festive period and on ‘big nights in’ occasions, when sharing bags perform particularly well as impulse purchases.”
