OVER half of all Scottish convenience stores now provide an ATM service as part of their offer to customers, ATM provider YourCash has revealed, and the firm reckons cash machines provide retailers with more than just a footfall boost.
YourCash has claimed that retailers who opt for a self-fill ATM will have access to “one of the most effective money-saving technologies available to business owners”.
Highlighting the expense of depositing cash at the bank – in terms of transporting the money and banking fees associated with use – YourCash said using cash that’s passed through the till to fill an ATM can reduce this cost as it will deposit the total money withdrawn from the machine into a retailer’s business bank account.
