A growing number of consumers are looking for lower calorie or even sugar-free options when reaching for an energy drink, AG Barr has claimed.
Quoting figures from IRI marketplace, AG Barr marketing director Adrian Troy said the lower calorie big can energy market in Scotland is currently worth £6.5m, and is “estimated to grow significantly over the next five years”.
Troy said AG Barr has responded to this demand with the launch of low calorie option Rockstar Pure Zero as well as the recently rolled out Rockstar Revolt range of zero sugar energy drinks.
Rockstar Revolt (pictured) is available in two 500ml cans, Killer Citrus and Killer Cooler.
