CHRISTMAS might be about indulgence for some but health is a major consumer interest currently.
As we head to the festive season Sunmagic says it has been growing ahead of the market with sales up 7% year on year.
It says a key trend is consumer desire for products that are perceived to be healthy, such as smoothies which combine fruit and vegetables and low-calorie and low-sugar juice drinks. Cold-pressed drinks are also proving to be popular with consumers as they are nutrient-rich, it says.
In response to those trends, it recently launched a cold-pressed range of 250ml smoothies in Carrot & Mango and Beetroot & Berry flavours.
It has also recently launched its new Hydra Fizz range of children’s sparkling juice drinks with 50% fruit juice and spring water.
