BREAKFAST on the go is a regular part of many people’s routine, says Mondelez International. And the giant food and confectionery firm says its breakfast biscuit Belvita, launched to meet on-the-go breakfast demand, is now the UK’s top selling healthy biscuit.
Mondelez International trade communications manager Susan Nash said: “The Belvita concept was founded on the insight that one in three people in the UK skip breakfast during the working week, the main reason being a lack of time.
“Belvita has one of the highest repeat rates in the entire category at 62% and is growing at 13% in 2016, of which 46% is incremental as Belvita moved biscuits into morning consumption.”
