A taste in time saves the day

FOLLOWING his leading role in the Kronenbourg 1664 advertising campaign last year, French former international footballer Eric Cantona will be back on TV promoting the French-origin beer brand this summer.
In the Alsace-tians campaign Cantona drives around Kronenbourg’s home area of Alsace in north-east France with two dogs who deliver the beer, at just the right time, to a variety of characters.
Among others, the dogs come to the aid of a monk tangled in church bell ropes and a stranded postman.
Brand director Ifeoma Dozie said: “We’re delighted to bring Kronenbourg fans a new chapter in the tale of a Taste Suprême.
“The Alsace-tians continue the humorous and tongue-in-cheek narrative already established in past campaigns, but takes the Kronenbourg story in a new direction demonstrating the personality, premiumness and supreme taste credentials of Kronenbourg 1664.”
