INNOVATIVE new products and marketing helped sugar confectionery grow sales by 0.7% last year according to Wrigley and it says it will follow the same pattern in 2016.
Wrigley marketing includes expanding its range of PMPs. Skittles and Starburst are now available in hanging bags with a £1 price flash.
Confections marketing manager Dan Newell said: “The £1 price point is a key sales driver for the convenience channel.”
