LATEST soft drink in the Barr range is 2015 limited-edition summer special Tropicoola.
According to the company’s research 93% of consumers in a taste test said Tropicoola offered something different and two out of three said they would buy it.
Head of marketing Adrian Troy said: “Barr’s core shoppers trust the range to deliver fun, innovative variants at great value.
“Tropicoola, with its colourful product and packaging, will add something new and exciting to the fixture.”
The new drink is available in 330ml cans price-marked at 39p and in 500ml bottles marked at 69p. Its launch is being supported through June with digital and consumer activity.
Troy added: “Barr has a strong track record of successful NPD. Our Bubblegum flavour, for example, was the fastest selling 330ml flavoured carbonate in the impulse market in the four weeks following its launch in 2013.”
