AS part of its Better Biscuits, Better Business advice service for retailers, United Biscuits says price-marked packs are vital to suggesting good value.
Trade communications controller Hena Chandarana said: “Snacks represent a huge growth opportunity for retailers. Savoury snacks have a particularly strong role to play.
“We have over 40 packs available in this format. For example, our Mini Cheddars sharing bag and Jacob’s Cream Crackers are now both available in a £1 marked pack.”
• urton’s Biscuit Company reckons it will boost the on-the-go biscuit market with its recently launched single-serve packs for adults.
The single-serve packs include a 30g Maryland Gooeys twin snack pack and a 40g bag of bite-sized Maryland Choc Chip Cookies, both available as 39p PMPs and plain packs (RRP 45p).
