Say ‘chai’ to green tea mints

US brand Sencha Naturals is launching in the UK with its range of Green Tea Leaf Mints, which are designed to combat bad breath naturally and provide the antioxidant benefits of green tea.

Available exclusively through natural and organic wholesale distributor Tree of Life, the range comes in five flavours: Original, Bombay Chai, Moroccan Mint, Pink Dragonfruit and Tropical Mango. All are made from a special Sen Cha blend of Organic Matcha and Sencha Green Tea, combined with natural sweetener Stevia, fruit and citrus extracts, spices and peppermint oils. Tree of Life says a single serving of three mints will provide the same levels of antioxidants as a cup of green tea, and contain just five calories.

“Green Tea Leaf Mints are not only good for you, they also help you conquer bad breath naturally as green tea actually inhibits the growth of oral bacteria,” said Kirsten Sowerby, marketing manager at Tree of Life. “They are the perfect healthy and grownup alternative to gum and mints and have become a must stock staple for retailers and foodservice operators in the US. The brand is now looking to emulate that success in the UK.”
