THE UK and Mexican governments have declared 2015 the year of Mexico in Britain.
And, in response, Global Brands has identified opportunities to promote Amigos, its tequila-flavoured beer.
The brand will be supported by campaigns around the three main Mexican holidays of Cinco De Mayo (5 May), Independence Day (16 September) and Day of The Dead (1 -2 November).
Simon Green, marketing director at Global Brands, said: “The big night in is an occasion that includes many different categories and appeals to shoppers of all ages.
“ To maximise sales potential we have introduced a 660ml size alongside the existing 330ml bottles, four-packs, Amigos Black 330ml and Amigos cans.”
