AHEAD of the Christmas period, Budweiser is currently the fastest-growing mainstream pilsner brand in c-stores, showing growth of 17.9% and adding £11m worth of incremental sales, as measured by IRI Convenience, said Sunny Bhurji, Budweiser head of trade marketing.

“Budweiser is a must-stock brand in the convenience channel, especially the small packs of both cans and bottles,” he said.
“The 4 x 300ml bottle pack is the bestselling small pack bottled premium lager in the UK.”
