SYMBOL group Today’s has relaunched its own-brand cider, Amberdown, in contemporary new packaging.
The Dry Apple Cider, ABV 5%, comes in 2- and 3-litre bottles. Amberdown White, ABV 7.5%, comes in 1-, 2- and 3-litre bottles. Today’s says that both SKUs offer retailers a minimum of 25 – 30% POR.
Managing director Bill Laird said: “We’re giving our retailers what they need to remain competitive. Three in five adults now drink cider and the majority drink the apple variety. Cider has become a real success story and by relaunching an old favourite we’re helping retailers to capitalise on the opportunity.”
