THE high levels of sugar in conventional jams inspired Kevin Bath to launch a healthier spread range, Jimjams.
“Having researched the spread sector, we realised there was a need to enhance the healthy spread category,” he explained.
“Added salt and sugar are big concerns, particularly when it comes to children. We were quite shocked at the levels contained in a lot of the main brands.”
The Jimjams range includes Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Raspberry jams, Marmalade, Milk Chocolate Spread and Hazelnut & Chocolate Spread. All RRPs are between £1.99 and £2.49.
