UNILEVER’S ice cream ranges have added contemporary flavours in recent months.
Last autumn the Ben & Jerry’s range added Peanut Butter Cup to its Classics collection.
Rhodri Morgan, Ben & Jerry’s senior brand manager, said the flavour had sold well in Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops and had become one of the flavours that received most requests on the brand’s Facebook page,
Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Butter Cup has an RRP of £4.49 and each case contains eight x 500ml tubs.
And last year the Unilever brand Carte D’Or added Salted Caramel flavour to its portfolio. Carte D’Or Salted Caramel joined the other flavours in the range including Amaretto & Chocolate and Strawberry, which were added in 2012, and Lavazza and Crème di Mascarpone.
At the launch the RRP of Carte D’Or Salted Caramel 900ml was £3.49. The product is wholesaled in cases of six.
