Martin Race, currently operations director at Batleys will assume all responsibility for group trading for Bestway Group by 1 July following Kaiser Yousaf’s decision to step down from his role as group trading director due to ill health.
By 1 July, David Gilroy will then oversee all operations for both the Bestway and Batley businesses with the new title of group operations director.
Younus Sheikh, managing director of Bestway paid tribute to Yousaf. “Kaiser has been a colleague and a friend for many years and has been instrumental in developing the Bestway Group’s business,” he said.
“His decision to step back due to health issues is something that we fully understand but accept with sadness.”
