JAFFA Cakes and Galaxy chocolate are the latest familiar names to get the mini muffin treatment. McVitie’s has shrunk and baked the essence of both favourites into a two-pack of tiny cakes in response to what it says is the current trend for eat-now treats. They replace McVitie’s Jaffa Cake Big Muffin and Galaxy Big Muffin.
With an RRP of 89p, they come in cases of 12.
McVitie’s David Fowler commented: “We’re confident that these great tasting mini muffins will extend beyond their traditional position in coffee shops and in-store bakeries.”
